I was responsible for our user research plan and strategy. Activities I undertook included recruiting qualifying participants and conducting semi-structured interviews and user tests.

My key contribution to the ideation phase was the phone pairing function inspired by MS Teams and the gamification concept BingGoal.

Given my limited prior experience with football, I initially struggled to contribute effectively to ideation as I couldnโ€™t fully empathise with the target audience. However, by conducting extensive secondary research and immersing myself in the live match environment and experience through ethnography, I significantly deepened my understanding of the sport.
